Obama

Okay, so a couple of Democratic states went Republican ... as measured by the state governors.
I'm not sure how a state's gubernatorial party relates to support for the White House.

So I look at the situation when Obama won the White House:

After exhausting exhaustive analysis, I conclude that the correlation is 45.678%.

  1. It would be interesting to see the similar correlations as to education and mental health and crime, especially in southern states having both GOP Senators like South Carolina.

  2. I lied about the correlation :^)

If I assign a 0 for a Republican governor (or state) and a 1 for a Domocratic governor (or state), then calculate the Pearson Correlation between the two lists of 50 1s and 0s, I get 27%.
