Open up or down

Okay, so I'm hooked on questions like: If my stock closes DOWN, will it go UP tomorrow?" and If my stock closes UP, will it go DOWN tomorrow?" and, of course, by how much and how often? etc. Motivated by dramatic drops in my favourite stock(s), I whip out a spreadsheet: Click to enlarge.
