Though I've been (just occasionally  )** critical of Americans and their politics and often feel that Canada is the dung beetle waiting for droppings from the elephant next door, I must admit that when disaster strikes, who's there the firstest with the mostest?Just watch them go to town in Haiti! I'm reminded of Gordon Sinclair's assessment written in 1973 !!  ** Me? Critical of the U.S.? Well, maybe here and here ... and then there's the dung beetle. |
