Though I've been (just occasionally )** critical of Americans and their politics and often feel that Canada is the dung beetle waiting for droppings from the elephant next door, I must admit that when disaster strikes, who's there the firstest with the mostest? The Americans, of course! Just watch them go to town in Haiti! I'm reminded of Gordon Sinclair's assessment written in 1973 !! ** Me? Critical of the U.S.? Well, maybe here and here ... and then there's the dung beetle.
